A Father's Legacy

His spirit soared,unbound, so free,

A guiding light for all to see,

With courage bold, he faced each day,

In every storm, he found his way,

His strength, a fortress,firm and true,

A pillar for his family,too.

His faith, a rock, unwavering we see,

He praised the lord for glory to be,

His love for music was pure and deep,

In melodies, his heart would leap,

He gave us wings to reach the sky,

To dream, to laugh, to be brave, to cry.

With every step his love was there,

A father's gift beyond compare.

Through his heart, his spirit, his might,

He taught us all to live in light.

To cherish life, to love, to give,

With his guidance, we learned to live.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Roy of Bathurst on September 3rd at Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Son of the late Joseph Roy and Celine Aube (Bathurst).

Loving husband, doting father, and friend to many, Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Marie Mae (Bathurst), sisters Carmelle Aube, Marie Roy and Bernadette Bertin.

Beloved father of Debby (Glenn) Stothart (Jardineville), Diane (Chris) (Shediac),

Ronald Jr. (Virginia) (Calgary), Joanne (Garnet) Harris (London, Ontario).

Adoring grandfather to Jamie, Brian, Justin, Matthew, Nicholas and Savannah

Survived by several neices and nephews.

Predeceased by his brother, Maurice.

Forever in our hearts, your spirit remains.

Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Chaleur Regional Hospital Palliative Team for their kindness and care.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Verret's Funeral Chapel, 1717 Sunset Dr. Bathurst on Monday September 9th at 1 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 pm.
