Gloria Lagacé

It is with deep sadness that the family of Gloria Lagacé, from Pointe-Verte, announce her passing which occurred on Monday May 6th, 2024, at the age of 72. Gloria was the wife of Nazaire Lagacé. Born in Lorne NB, she was the daughter of late Daniel Carrier and late Marie-Jeanne Francoeur.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Nathalie (Jason Costain), Lady Lane, PEI; four grandchildren: Martina (Jeremy), Émilie, Connor (Natalie) and Maya (Chandler); two great-grandchildren: Frederic and Levi; one brother, Richard (Cheryl) of Canmore, Alberta; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by five brothers: Daniel, Martin, Gabriel, Emmanuel and Benoit; and four sisters: Alice, Léonie, Marcia and Yvonne.

Visitation will take place at Verret’s Funeral Chapel in Nigadoo, on Saturday May 11th, 2024 at 9 am, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 10 am.

C’est avec immense tristesse que la famille de Gloria Lagacé, de Pointe-Verte, vous annonce son décès qui est survenu le lundi 6 mai 2024, à sa résidence, à l’âge de 72 ans. Née à Lorne, N.-B., elle était l’épouse de Nazaire Lagacé, et la fille de feu Daniel Carrier et de feu Marie-Jeanne Francoeur.

Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil une fille, Nathalie (Jason Costain) de Lady Fane, Î.-P.É.; quatre petits-enfants: Martina (Jeremy), Émilie, Connor (Natalie) et Maya (Chandler); deux arrière-petits-enfants: Frederic et Levi; un frère, Richard (Cheryl) de Canmore, Alberta; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Elle fut précédée dans la tombe par cinq frères: Daniel, Martin, Gabriel, Emmanuel et Benoit; et quatre sœurs: Alice, Léonie, Marcia et Yvonne.

La famille recevra les visites à la Chapelle funéraire Verret de Nigadoo, le samedi 11 mai 2024 à 9 h. Il y aura un service d’adieu à 10 h au salon funéraire.
