George Rowsell

George Rowsell of Bathurst, passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on January 14, 2025 at the age of 86.  He was the husband of the late Pearl Whitt. Born in Robert's Arm, NL he was the son of the late Augustus Rowsell and the late Lily Penney.

He is survived by his children: Debbie (Stephen Moss) of Blind Bay, BC, Shawn (Cheryl) of Havelock, NB, Vernon of Havelock, NB, Lori (Thomas Frenette) of Bathurst; his grandchildren: Trevor, Ryan, Kyle, Jordan and Alyssa; his great-grandchildren: Peyton and Casey; his brothers: Ernest, Glosson, Melvin and Ted; and his sister, Maud.

He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Joyce Pearl; his brothers: Walter and James; and his sister Sharon.

There will be no visitation or funeral. There will be a graveside service at a later date.
